From the rehab roomto real strength.
Lashaunna Ash-morris has spent five years helping injured people rebuild. Fitwithlush is where that work continues — past discharge, past pain-free, into strong.
"I have been training clients as a physio therapist assistant for 5years now. Helping injured clients byild strength and reach their goals. The transition into fitness training and helping people reach their weight goals, only seemed to further align with a job i already loved to do."
— Lashaunna Ash-morris
In a rehab room, nobody is impressed by a heavy lift. The measure is whether the person in front of you can do the thing they came in unable to do — reach the top shelf, drive without wincing, get up off the floor unaided. That is where Lashaunna learned to work backwards from the outcome that actually matters to you.
She also learned patience of a particular kind. Tissue heals on its own schedule. You can build ideal conditions — load, sleep, protein, consistency — but you cannot rush them, and pretending otherwise is how setbacks happen.
The pattern she kept seeing: a client finishes their rehab block, gets discharged, and stops. The pain is gone, the plan is over, and nothing replaces it. Months later the same complaint returns, because the strength that protects a joint was only ever built to the minimum. That gap is what Fitwithlush exists to close.
Routines thattravel well.
Adaptability is the actual skill. Lashaunna builds every program in three formats — a full gym version, a home version, and a twenty-minute version for the week that goes sideways. Same principles, different terrain. It means a work trip, a night shift or a flare-up bends the routine instead of ending it, and flexible training reads as freedom rather than compromise. That is what "meet them where they're at" looks like on a Tuesday morning: nothing left to renegotiate.
Sessions combine cardio and strength work — cardiovascular health on one side, muscle endurance and strength on the other. Range, control and tempo come before load. Load climbs in the smallest increment that still counts. Everything is written down and reviewed weekly.
